Yeah, it has... you cannot just dispute everything anymore like you used to.
Google now auto-filters a lot of junk before it even charges you, and it uses AI to detect spam, solicitors, and wrong-number calls. So if Google already decided a lead was valid, you need a real reason to fight it.
The old way was "dispute every lead that didn't book." That doesn't work now. If you spam disputes, Google actually trusts you less and starts denying them.
Now you have to be smart about it. Only dispute the clear policy violations, wrong location, wrong trade, solicitor trying to sell you something, tenant calling for a landlord job you don't cover, or a complete duplicate. And do it fast, within a day or two, with a short note like "caller asked for HVAC, we are plumbing only." Also, stop disputing "low quality" leads where the customer just had sticker shock or didn't book. Google sees that as a sales issue, not a lead quality issue. Basically, dispute less, but dispute better.
