YouTube display ads come in two main formats: regular display ads and overlay ads. Regular display ads appear to the right of the feature video and above the video suggestions list, or below the player in larger views. They come in sizes 300×250 or 300×60. Overlay ads, on the other hand, are semi-transparent ads that appear on the lower portion of the video player, offering a less intrusive advertising option.
