I recently set up a 302 redirect for a temporary page move, but now I'm worried about potential SEO issues. Since a 302 doesn't pass link equity like a 301, will Google still index both the old and new URLs? Could this cause duplicate content problems or impact rankings?

A 302 tells Google the move's temporary, so it’ll likely keep indexing the original URL and hold back on passing full link equity.

If it sticks around too long, you could run into duplicate content or diluted rankings.

If the redirect’s only for a few days, 302 is totally fine. But if it’s stretching past a week or two or might stick around, sNot sure how long the change will last? Default to a 301.

NOTE: Keep an eye on things in Google Search Console and run regular site audits to stay ahead of any SEO slip-ups.witch it to a 301 to lock in SEO value and keep indexing clean.
