My largest issue with Facebook ads is how volatile they are. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars in training and I still have not learned how to resolve this. This weekend for example just so-so sales and today I am sitting here watching in disbelief how many sales. How can I be more consistent? Is it just the algorithm?

Facebook ad volatility is real - and yes, part of it is the algorithm. But there are ways to reduce those wild swings and create more consistent performance.

Focus on broad targeting with CBO, avoid making frequent edits (which reset learning), and use creative packs to give Meta options to optimize daily.  Consider setting lifetime budgets with scheduled delivery to control performance across weekdays vs. weekends.

Most importantly, look beyond just ROAS - track CPM, CTR, and CVR to spot patterns early. While daily results may still fluctuate, building a more stable campaign structure will smooth out the highs and lows over time.
