I no longer see an option to edit the vertical placement of an image ad vs. the feed placement. How do I edit these specific placements?

When you can’t find the option to edit vertical vs feed placement, it’s probably because Advantage+ placements are enabled. To customize per placement, you need to switch to Manual Placements and use asset customization.

How to Fix It:

  • Switch to Manual Placements
  • At the Ad Set level, click Placements → Show More Options → select Manual Placements (instead of auto/Advantage+).

Customize Assets

  • Expand each placement (e.g., Stories, Feed).
  • Click the pencil icon next to the placement and choose Crop or Customize.

Upload Proper Dimensions

  • Feed: use 4:5 (1080×1350) or 1:1.
  • Stories/Reels: use 9:16 (1080×1920).

Switching placements gives you full control. It’s a few extra clicks, but worth it for tailored creatives per placement.
