My Facebook account was suspended because it was associated with an Instagram account, which I have no connection to, that was allegedly violating Instagram's policies.
Currently, there is no way to access my account, and there is really nothing concrete out there to contact Facebook.
Has anyone had the same situation before, and how did you guys get back your account ?

Facebook (Meta) often links accounts across platforms, so if an Instagram account connected (even loosely) to your Facebook profile or Business Manager gets flagged, it can drag down your FB account too, even if you had no control over it.

Here’s what others in your situation have done (with some success):

1. Appeal the Suspension (Even If It Seems Hopeless)

Try these links:

Make your appeal clear, calm, and factual: “My Facebook account was restricted due to an Instagram account that I have no ownership of or access to. I believe this was an error in association, and I would appreciate a manual review.”

2. Try Meta Business Live Chat (Best During Business Hours)

Go here: https://business.facebook.com/business/help.
Click "Get Help" → Advertising → Something Else until a chat option appears.

It’s hit or miss, but when it works, it’s your fastest shot at a human response.

3. Check Account Connections

  • Go to Meta Accounts Center

  • If you ever authorized or linked an Instagram account — even briefly — it might have flagged your account.
You can unlink it if you regain access.

A few more things to watch out for:

  • Don’t create a new FB profile immediately — that could violate Meta’s policy and hurt your chances.

  • If you run a business and can’t access ads, try logging in through another admin or request someone to give your new profile access temporarily (if the account is unrecoverable).

  • Document everything. Screenshots, emails, and timestamps — they’ll help in appeals.

Meta's support system is notoriously difficult to navigate, especially when an account is disabled for reasons you don't control.

Here's a straightforward answer based on what's working for others in 2025:

The most consistently reported solution for getting a Facebook account back when it's linked to an unknown, policy-violating Instagram account is to use Meta Verified support.

  1. Sign Up for Meta Verified: If you have any active Instagram account (even a new personal one), sign up for Meta Verified on that Instagram account. Yes, it costs money (a monthly fee), but it's currently the most reliable way to get access to live chat or dedicated email support.

  2. Contact Support via Meta Verified: Once verified, you'll gain access to "Enhanced Support" through the Instagram app's settings (usually under Settings & privacy > Account Center > Meta Verified). Start a live chat or submit a ticket.

  3. Clearly Explain the Situation:

    • State that your Facebook account was suspended due to an Instagram account you do not own or have any connection to.

    • Provide screenshots of the suspension notice on Facebook, showing the name of the alleged Instagram account.

    • Emphasize that this Instagram account is unknown to you and that your Facebook account was not violating policies.

    • Be polite but persistent.

  4. Be Patient and Follow Up: It might take several chats and follow-ups. Agents may initially provide generic responses, but keep politely pushing for escalation to a specialized team who can investigate the false association. Some users report it takes 1-2 weeks.

  5. Alternative (Less Reliable): Submit an Appeal Form: While less effective than Meta Verified, always submit the official "My Personal Account Was Disabled" appeal form on Facebook if you can access it. Provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots.

The key takeaway is that Meta Verified is currently the most practical pathway to a human support agent who can investigate this specific type of false account linking issue.
