After the transition, Google handles more of the bidding automatically instead of having you manually control bids for individual leads. The system uses signals like your budget, location, competition, demand, and the likelihood of getting a lead to decide how aggressively to compete.
For you, that means less hands-on control over individual bids. You mainly set your budget and campaign settings, while Google takes care of the bid adjustments behind the scenes. That doesn’t mean you can just set it and forget it, though. Keep an eye on lead volume, cost per lead, lead quality, booked jobs, and revenue. If spending goes up but you’re not getting better leads or more customers, you want to look at your targeting and campaign settings.
