If your Yelp profile has strong reviews but your Google profile does not, you may still perform well on Yelp, but the weaker Google review profile can make it harder to build trust with customers who find you through Google Search, Maps, or LSA. Google reviews are especially important because they are directly visible across Google’s local ecosystem.
Your Yelp reviews generally won’t replace or transfer to your Google review profile. So, if LSA is an important lead source, I’d focus on building a strong Google review profile while continuing to maintain your Yelp presence.
The best approach is to treat both platforms separately: use Yelp reviews to build credibility with Yelp users and Google reviews to strengthen your presence across Google.
