Yes. Under the October 2026 update, bookings are treated as a lead and therefore as a conversion action for Performance Max campaigns with pay-per-lead goals. Google specifically lists appointment bookings as a supported lead type alongside calls and messages.

The important distinction is that a booking is not simply a free website conversion. If a customer schedules an appointment directly through the ad and it qualifies as a valid lead, Google can charge you for that lead. Standard clicks remain free. Google Help

So, after the October update, you should evaluate GLSA performance across calls, messages, and bookings rather than treating phone calls as the only conversion. Google’s reporting also breaks charged leads and lead spend down by call, message, and booking. 

For agencies, this means your reporting should include booking volume, booking-to-customer rate, cost per booked lead, and revenue, not just call volume.
